Where do I start?!
Almost 7 months ago I walked into a hotel just outside Paris, France to a “wow, hiiiiiiiiii, I did not know you were here’
I have to be honest, I was nervous. We had barely said hello to each other and than two weeks later we were practically sharing a bed ha. (Oh France how you have made us stronger) Yet, I could not have asked for a better roommate aka my plus one ;p
It does not take a genius to know that we are opposites in many areas of our lives. . . However, you were exactly what I needed.
You have taught me many important lessons.
Like what?! Well Princess . .
2) In my best New York accent, “speak yooooo mind” (that might be half Ba ti)
3) “let it be”
4) always remember “he ain’t got shhhhhhhh**” lol
5) Patience, patience, patience
To name a few. . .
We have shared many laughs, tears, frustrations, heart ache, and most importantly survival ha
As I have told you before, whether it was with you or at you, you have made me laugh everyday. Beginning with that first phone call where we realized we had both successfully missed our flight.
I mean, come on, how is that possible.
Those lessons don’t even begin to touch on some of our best (funny)moments here:
Picturing you carrying all my bags up our dreaded stair case. “Don’t stop til you get to the top, don’t stop”.
You gracefully trying to or attempting to finish my favorite (Gorgonzola) kind of spaghetti. Now, I have no doubt that would simply tell me no ha.
Sorry, “no, thankkk yooouu”
Our very memorable nights in the center square as we sat “past curfew” and tried to use the internet.
Your comments on the field or how a simple look could make me burst out laughing. Your “secret play” break downs or random “boulette” moments lol.
I could go on and on, but I think you get the point.
You have brought me so much joy to my life.
I also know it has not been all laughs. Still, at those times you would just listen and tell me God has it. That is something I will never forget.
I have gone through the hardest year of my life and even with no history together, you never wavered with being there for me.
I cannot put into words what this time has meant to me or how appreciative I am with walking away with a friend.
We (YOU) have not only survived France but also my WHOLE family ha. I am not sure which one was a bigger feat. (Thhhaankkk yoouuuu)
I got your back.
I am cheering for you.
I will miss you.
“takkkkkkeee ittt, takkkkee another piece of my heart baby…. ”
